Surprise, surprise, I love surprises! Pick this up for only $11 @ my local wine outfit. Tasted very similar to a Chateau Puech Haut les prestige that I bought years ago but for half the price. If you find this buy it, especially if it's $11! — 25 days ago
Lots of fun bottles were popped at Al’s hosting this past weekend for his birthday celebration. All were served blind. 1 sparkler, 2 whites, 6 reds and 1 dessert wine.
This was en mag. WOW. Slightly cloudy in the glass. My first guess when looking at it was Marcassin, but it wasn’t waxy enough on the palate. Smelled of rich lemon cream, powdered lemon bars and juicy fruit (that should always be my key to guessing PM). A powerhouse on the palate with juicy tropical fruits, marshmallow, and sweet marzipan. Gorgeous stuff. I called this 2012 Aubert Ritchie. — 22 days ago
Nose of cassis, black plum, blackberry preserves, late-fall pine cone, cinnamon, clove / plush, ripe tannins with some red fruit showing through on the palate / powerful with a long finish—hard to believe that wines with this kind of self-assurance and structure can be had below $25 — 16 days ago
Brought back in my suitcase from the Domaine in Corsica.... on the nose smokey dark fruit and roses. In the mouth dark spicy fruit, floral with grippy tannins, good acidity and a touch of heat. Good wine with a sense of place. Might be a tad too young. — a day ago
Amazing which concentration these Burgundies can get at a low alcoholpercentage of 12,5%. This is just the perfect blend and smells and tastes as every bottle should. This wine wipes out 80% of rubbish in other bottles. — 5 days ago
Incredibly delicious read incredibly addictive wine. Highly enjoyed whilst staying in Courmayeur in Italy. — 15 days ago
