Vintage 2015 / Exploring the wines from #Corsica. This reserve Bellucenti is named after Saint Lucia with ‘the most beautiful eyes in the world’. Made from local curiosity grape #nielluccio and #syrah. Dark colour. A warm and serious smell, hint of vannila, brushwood, leather and morello cherries. Great p/q. Smooth taste. Not complex. Good acidity. The cuvees name made me think of Monica Belluci (strange how brains work 😁). The wine makes me happy. — 8 years ago

This is a slim and lively wine, a ‘Twiggy’ that wraps your heart with liveliness. It’s not complex. But hey... who cares with hot weather. Partnered it with saucages from the bbq.
