This dusty old dame was opened on a lark and was the Belle of the Ball. Fruit, velvet finish with grip on the end. A really fine and easy wine. Easily in my top 10 for the year so far. It has all of the complexity to satisfy the snobbiest wine critic and the simplicity to make a novice want to become an snob. — a month ago
California doesn't do red better than this. We love BamBam--served it at a May wedding. This red is a great companion as the seasons change to a delightful mouthful of flavor that reminds you why you love Cali-reds. I would have given it a 10 had I had a bigger bottle. — 4 months ago
Our bottle tasted like an off bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill. I was sold a big mouthful of classic Zin Jam, I got a bottle of strawberry flavored simple syrup. so disappointing. It was the only bottle we decanted that was left not consumed at a gathering of millennials and their wine savvy parents. — 3 months ago
What a Cali Chard should be. The 2010 cellared like a rock star and was great with a succulent shrimp@and pasta feast. Slightly oaky on the first pour, by the end it was stellar. — 4 months ago
This is not your grandfather's SB. This is closer to a world class Chablis, than a NZ SB -- no grapefruit or catspee. Rich full mouth, fruit, earth, great alone and with savory food. — a month ago
The 2014 vintage is young; but tolerable. A few more years in the bottle should produce adequate results. — 6 months ago
