Blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of rich berry fruit, floral and slight spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and blueberry with floral spice, warm integrated vanilla oak and earthy cinnamon. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, vanilla oak and soft earthy notes, nice now, will still develop. A nice fillet mignon with Cabernet gravy will go well. — 9 days ago
Ok, 2014s turning 10 so gonna be exploring these. RP says 2014s are ready so bring it on!
Fantastic nose. It doesn’t jump out of the glass like TRB’s 4 winds from last weekend (I could smell that forever) but this one is a statement of elegance. Violets, black fruit, graphite, and mocha.
Great mouthfeel at the beginning. Fruit is wonderful, chocolate, but I will say that I’m here too early. Tannin sticking out - a little greenness to the tannin as well. Ends with drying pucker. I was hoping I’d be past that on 10th birthday. Just speaks to a better rating in the future. Would think 3-5 years until another one? — 4 months ago
Beautiful 20 year old Oregon Pinot. Opened, re-corked, then enjoyed an hour later over the next 6 hours. Slightly clunky at first but expressed good integration after the first hour. Evolved gradually and subtly. Dried strawberries gave way to raspberry preserves and then sour cherry. Medicinal and sage notes gave way to lavender and rose then cigar/cigar box then smoky bacon and finally black tea. No real awkward phases. Likely drinking at or near peak now. — 20 days ago
Blend of 78% Sauvignon Blanc and 22% Sémillon, pale lemon with aromas of tropical and citrus fruits with white floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach, pear and lemon citrus notes with good balance, crisp medium finish ending with fruit and stony mineral notes. Nice value! — 2 months ago
Still kicking after 17 years! Way to go Adelsheim - lovely to taste a gracefully aged WV Pinot. — 4 months ago

2021 vintage. Medium body. Nice depth, focus and concentration during the performance. Hated for the curtain to fall. May need an encore-and soon. More affordable than you suspect. 3.27.24. — a month ago
