Wow - what a burgundy. Not sure it rises to the level of some of the best wines I’ve had but it’s close. 2018 opened Jan 2023. This has a wonderful nose—tobacco and cardamon on the nose. Strangely the fruit is not on the front of the palate—rather there are mineral high notes on the front rather the back of the palate. Pleasantly soft-level tannins hold all the components together. The fruit shows up on the back of the palate. Medium long finish that’s slightly tart but pleasant. — 12 days ago
