Every time i have a sparkling gamay i tell myself i need more sparkling gamay. This is such a tasty sipper, so hard to put down! Dry and acidic with mouthwatering raspberries and watermelon. The bottle is almost gone!

Wine 11/12 (Pinot Noir / Gamay)
Nose has dried strawberry, cold watermelon, wet raspberries and minor green herbs, quite delicate yet powerful.
Palate has dried strawberry, juicy peach, sandstone with medium-light acidity and medium finish. Really a great wine, so light yet quite finessed.
My first Côtes de Toul, will not be my last!
Once again it is notable that I have made one full trip around the Sun earlier this week. We had our small, social bubble team to the house for celebrating my getting older and somewhat less flexible in advancing age...Whatever will be done when I creast 50? Well, at least it's several years until needing manage that concern.
We enjoyed well-salted Ribeyes (Kinderhook Farm - Valatie, NY, prepared 48h in advance), turning to a beautiful medium-rare after a mere 12m of grill time and smashed, small red potatoes with capers (yeah try it, don't judge me yet). None of the bottles were particularly planned as 'steak wines'; we didn't care as it really was a wine nerd-fest of grapes/regions, from Burgenland, Austria to Brittany, France. Wine and food were on individual plateaux today. This was the vom Boden Spring Experience case, expertly curated by Stephen Bitterolf, and well received by our tasting crew. — 6 years ago
@Delectable Wine This is a VDF from the Moselle in France. Winemaker is Remi Gauthier. This is 100% Pinot Noir. Slamming nose. Cherry cola, big big cherries, licorice, mineral and even ripe strawberry. Super aromatic and wonderful. Unique as well. So juicy and ripen with ample lip smacking mid season cherry fruit and wonderful acidity and freshness. Terrific purity and freshness. Impressive length and so so well made. — 8 years ago

Easy drinking French white wine. Crisp, but not overly dry. — 6 years ago
Yum. Jolly rancher, rocks, acid party. Delish. Gamay, not white. — 7 years ago
Solid as always. Should lay longer, of course. — 9 months ago
Fabulous. Paired with lobster. Fresh and refreshing. Right up there with Cristal and Pol Roger Winston Churchill as my favorite champagne. — 3 years ago
Nose has under-ripe pineapple, cut yellow apple, yellow raspberry, faint herbal notes and wet, crushed rock.
Palate has saline apple juice, mashed yellow raspberry, dried lemon pith and moist garden soil. Solid acidity and a long finish, fun wine.
An interesting relative to Chardonnay, our first time ever with this grape. One more box checked on the lifetime experience of wine enjoyment and palate training. — 6 years ago

Medium lemon , light copper hue . Some light but persistent bubbles still. This is quite serious and rich on the nose , with some orange rind , walnut , touch of mushroom and meaty , soy hints . Quite rich , intense and dense on the palate but with good freshness still , long with orange rind and walnut. Perfect now and over the next 5 years or so .
