Yes, I'll have a taste.
This was nondescript and boring. Lemon and acid. I felt that the quality of grapes used in the production were not up to sufficient standards. — 10 days ago
Dried mandarin orange and honey suckle with these big mushroom notes that give it a sweet umami nose. And bread, of course. Palette is rich, with a, dare I say, slight dustiness?Almost tannic, like some skin action. It was round with a lemon rind character. Not sweet, but also not bitter, right in the middle. Finishes slightly hot it feels but that could be me. Definitely a more modern version but way better than the 09’ but doesn’t come close to holding a candle to the 08’ — 23 days ago
Smooth and soft, undefined red fruit - for Tennessee wine surprisingly good! Easy drinking — 11 days ago
Casually browsing the champs list, not expecting anything then BOOM 07’ GC SC for $120 - YES SOLD. What a bottle. Savory tropical fruit bursting out, papaya and mango, then rice pudding, then straight up salted Brittany Caramel - what a spectacular nose, after 130ish bottles of Champagne, it’s like nothing I’ve had, honestly. Balanced acidity keeps the caramel and salt notes alive and the finish is graceful and long. Can’t wait to return to this lovely producer. I have to believe that I got a great bottle, like anything, I would expect a degree of bottle variation. Luck of the draw! — 23 days ago
This dances between sweet and savory, chiseled and fun. Some bubblegum but also bacon fat. Palette is well balanced, everything in place, medium acid. Finishes medium in length as well. A well made, interesting bottle! — 20 days ago
A curious nose of raspberries, pear, and mango. With some brioche. Interesting and different! Good acid on the attack with tart pear. Tannic mid but not overly so. Finish fades slowly mirroring palette with nothing off. Lovely Rose, though sadly I do not see sufficient complexity for $90. — a month ago
