Yes, I'll have a taste.
Killer - great nose of sour cherry and some forestry funk. Palette is lifted at the start and transitions to a full palette of bright red fruit, and finishes with a bit of mahogany. — 2 months ago
What. A. Disappointment. This was drank over 3 hours - nothing really opened up. Some decent bubbles and acids, cranberry precise fruit. Lacked complexity. Never showed up to the plate. Maybe the bottle? $$$, and this investment did not pay off. — 2 months ago
A beautiful example of a well balanced and reasonably priced Champagne. It has a nose of green and yellow apples, with hints of allspice, and subtle limestone. Palette is crisp with excellent balance. Finish is expansive and lasts quite a while. The bubbles are super fine and the wine is quite feminine. Always lovely. — 2 months ago
Life is short - drink vintage Champagne. Hugely complex nose. It’s brown sugar, poached Granny Smith apples, but underneath a tropical baked pineapple note. Tertiary notes of deep white flowers and lemon. This juxtaposition between fresh, bright fruit, and deeply brooding rich sugary toasty notes is...Truly stunning. The nose is one of the most complex in Champagne I can recall to date. Goes on with autolysis but with cinnamon and sugar. Gorgeous. The palette snaps alive with malic notes, good acid, the wine is still quite alive. It goes on and on, the green apple provides such freshness. The mid palette is expansive and rich, it’s teeming soft tannins. The finish is long and beautiful, it begs for another sip. — 2 months ago
A fun, funky Pinot. I enjoyed its unique nose - of which notes of I don’t recall. — 2 months ago
My 800th wine on Delectable! What a grand Rose! This was a nice organ color, pretty mousse. Bright and alive with orange peel and candies fruit, some apricot and of course subtle berries. Palette was refined and precise. A beautifully woven acidity ties the wine together. The palette has more of the orange feel coming through, candied and burnt, with other lemon notes breaking through. Finishes long. Absolutely lovely. — 2 months ago
Enjoyable - if a bit hot (15%!) Big ripe raspberry with some smoke and spice. Palette a bit high acid but the dark fruit holds it up. Medium tannins and the finish is also medium. Different, drinkable at this price. With homemade pasta. — 2 months ago
