I Love this wine. 100% Auxerrois from Remi Gauthier. From the Moselle. Super mineral nose but also has exotic fruits. Iodine and saline as well. Elegant and complex with lovely acid and freshness. Very pure. Just a joyful wine. Inner mouth aromas and wonderful acids. Lingering finish.

Slipping into the weekend, workday done βœ…, lawn mown βœ… and bottles chilling 🍾🧊, so it's time to relax before the heat wave hits us tomorrow. 🌞🏜️

Prior notes apply:
Nose has under-ripe pineapple, cut yellow apple, yellow raspberry, faint herbal notes and wet, crushed rock.
Palate has saline apple juice, mashed yellow raspberry, dried lemon pith and moist garden soil. Solid acidity and a long finish, fun wine.

An interesting relative to Chardonnay, our first time ever with this grape. One more box checked on the lifetime experience of wine enjoyment and palate training.

Lovely sort of fresh minerally apricotty thing on the palate. Some spice. A nice change of pace wine.
