Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Delicious throughout. The 2022 Cuvée Cassaneas pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with a mix of ripe and tart, orchard and tropical fruit: pineapple, green apple, peach, white and yellow flowers, limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and loaded with minerals. A touch rounder than the 2021 version. Another beautiful wine that reaches way beyond its humble Bourgogne Blanc designation. Drink now through 2037. — 3 days ago

Beautiful color of peach with a rustic tint.

Nose of over ripened apples, citrus, light red fruits, spices, minerals, yeast and brioche.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and small bubbles.

Dry on the palate with strawberries, sweet raspberries, cherries, citrus, apples, yeast, light earth, brioche, spices, minerals sea salt and herbs.

Long finish with apples and herbs.

This is a delicious Champagne. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and easy drinking. Complex and interesting.

White and yellow florals. On the palate there are ripe citrus flavours. Delicate with a piercing intensity, if that makes sense - just the right amount of oak influence. At 10 years this white burgundy still has tension but overall a lean impression - a few years left in the cellar - I have one left. Points off for a ridiculously heavy and large bottle.
