Bodega Noemia de Patagonia

Rio Negro Malbec 2020

Medium ruby , violet ruby rim . Lively and freshly fruited , wild strawberry , red plum , spiced cherry . On the palate more of the spiced cherry , red plum and raspberry notes . Light herbal touch . Quite fresh acidity and slightly gritty tannins . Red cherry , herbal medium length finish . This is showing well but will probably age quite well over the next 5-8 years . Really good freshness with elegance and drive . — 5 months ago

Château Lalande de Pez

St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

2019 vintage. $15.85 resto cost. This is huge BDX QPR. Picked up two cases to throw on the list as a cheap chicken but may hafta pick up three more to have for a year+. Finishes dry as is the St. Estèphe wont but enough fruit and balance as it stands. Can’t ask for more at this price. 11.6.24. — 6 months ago

Miolo

Lote 43 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 1999

Quite garnet colour , terracotta rim, slightly younger looking than the Lovara, very fine sediment . Slight touch of leather , then spiced cassis , sous bois , coffee, grafite . On the palate quite good sweet dark fruits , with touch of soy sauce , leather , sous bois , dry spices . Good balanced, quite fresh acidity , soft tannins . Medium length and still showing really quite well . At the end of its drinking window so drink now and over the next couple of years — 9 months ago
