When suddenly opened it had medium acidity and strong cat pee and wet stone nose, but after 30 minutes it softened very well to green apple and kiwi.

A bit locked up and muscle-bound on night one. On night 2, it’s still large-framed, but the nose is showing more sweet cassis fruit to go with the smoky graphite and clove. Mouthfilling, with significant amounts of very soft tannin, the plate initially hits with equal amounts of dark fruit and dark gravelly notes, turns a bit peppery and savory in the middle, and as the long finish progresses, it fades into very pure plummy cassis. If the acids were a tad higher and the alcohol a tad lower, this would be close to amazing. As it is, it’s very good, and will be better in 3-5 years. — a month ago
Very nice wine. Well structured with soft tannins and a nice finish at the end. Paired with a fillet steak, roasted veggies and a baked potato. — 4 days ago
