The Reserve To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

I am not a big Robert Mondavi fan, but this 50 anniversary 2013 vintage is one of those exceptions. Very smooth finish yet balance body.

This is very drinkable even now — lots of leather, slate and dark stone fruit. Tastes like a great classic Cabernet. Excellent job for the 50th anniversary!

Nice but definitely not my favorite for the price point.

Super dry. Almost left bank-ish, but still clearly Napa. This was the dark horse. Very good quality. I would buy again in a heartbeat

Dark ruby color. Blackberry, cassis, and licorice with a slight vegetal note. It's a bit tight and acidic at this point in its development and will need more time to realize the full potential of the vineyard and vintage.

Probably the best To Kalon value in the market. Drinking great not can cellar for many more years.

balsamic, soil, and ripe balck fruits. solid.

Bordeaux style. Lots of fruit but not overwhelming Good for the price.
