Soaring nose. Gorgeous. Wow. Super high toned macerated cherries, glorious spice and minerality, amazing cotton candy, just an outrageous nose. Stoney and spicey and so so mineral. Just exuberant and insane pungent. Some smoke, game and leather as well. So transparent. Cherry flower, ripe midseason cherries. A 9.5 nose. Palate is incredible and sweet. Such thunderous and elegant fruit. Such flavor intensity. Wow. Just explodes on the palate with tiny berry fruit intensity. So so well made. This is incredible. Intensely sweet and concentrated but remains so so fine and so so elegant. This is so good. It has that sense of nobility that only the top Burg 1er Crus give. Such wonderful ripe tannins and exquisite energy and freshness. Top class. — 9 days ago
Terrific nose. So fresh and pure. So so Pommard. Stones, spice, tea like aromas and deep cherry fruit. Juicy and complex with lovely fruit and purity. Fresh and ample but also energetic and linear. Delicious. Terrific volume and freshness. So pure. So clean. Amazing purity. Really impressive fruit soak on the finish. Exceptional village wine. — 10 days ago
Super sick serious Chenin. Nose of beeswax, almonds, superb minerality, hint of honey, so deep, concentrated and super deep with intense acidity and explosiveness. So pure and fresh. Clean. Lanolin. Superb texture. Juicy and so so clean. Long and lingering. Superb structure and length. Lingers forever. Salty finish. Huge wine. Massively structured and also a hint of lime. Sick. — 8 days ago
From 102 year old vines in the center of Pommard. This is, next to the Rugiens, the top wine of the estate. Sick nose. What a nose. So deep. So pure. Smoke, ripe cherry, huge minerals. Stoney. It needs 15 minutes I think. Wow. This is a beast. Massive fruit and structure. This is even more imposing than Rugiens. Massive power and concentration and fruit sap. This is incredible BUT I’ll be back to upgrade as this needs mega air.
UPDATE on day 2 - brooding nose. Stoney, deep dark cherries, blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, savory and meaty, palate is massive and sweet with stunning juiciness and real persistence and tannins cut like a swath. Awesome, complex and deep. Needs 5 years.

This is brilliant. Huge expressive nose. So clean and full of mid season cherries, spice, flowers, mineral, licorice, high end bubble gum. So dope. Palate has stunning sweetness and purity. Oh man what a sphere. Stunning ripe tannins. Beautiful purity and so delicate. What a Pommard. Showing stupid elegance. True wow. Terrific inner mouth aromas. Ripe and juicy tannins and such complexity. A lot of material. Awesome. — 10 days ago
Drank 12/9/19. Nice with porchetta spiced pork chops
Nose of red currants and underbrush. Similar palate. Well balanced, but slightly muted. Medium to firm tannins. Long finish. I was expecting a bit more from a CDP, but nice nonetheless.

Nose starts out a bit closed but you can see the perfume. Then roses, ripe cherry fruit, so aromatic. Some hints of citrus skin. Wow. Such a pure and elegant nose. Classic Volnay. As it opens a dizzying perfume is there. Earth, mineral, loam. So so good. Palate is ripe, juicy and substantial. Good fruit and texture, with awesome juiciness and very very fine tannins. Long sweetly fruited finish. Terrific complexity, energy and depth. This is super impressive. It drinks well after 10 minutes as well. Awesome. Superb velvety, ripe and sweet tannins. Terrific inner mouth florals and fruit. Almost a 9.5. — 10 days ago
Classic Pezerolles. Stoney, surreal and layered. Just gorgeous. Tightest out of the gates so far. So floral. Gorgeous lithe elegant and ephemeral cherries. Cherry flower. Sick nose. Licorice and flowers. Just amazing. Juicy and complex with stunning intensity and finesse. Stoney throughout. Gorgeous elegance allied with sweet fruit and all on a silken string. So juicy with great breadth and depth also so so so long. Stunning. Ripe and Stoney tannins. Such a wonderful Pezerolles. — 10 days ago
Fascinating nose that shows the unreal unique terroir of St. Romain. Lemon drop, herbal, mineral, so distinct. Some ripe fruit. Palate is juicy and clean with terrific purity and freshness. Long, juicy and with an ample texture but great minerality. Lovely savory quality on the finish. Very long, salty and juicy. Terrific now but I sense there is more. Much more. @Delectable Wine its Chardonnay. Thanks. — 17 days ago
