I’m not sure I’ve ever had a wine from the Elbling grape before. It’s quite nice. Nose is a little musky (Muscat like) and a little appley (Riesling-ish), and a touch herbal. In the mouth it’s got a big whack of grapey flavor up front, then fades relatively quickly, leaving a wispy tannic feel and a pleasant bitter note. Nice! — 3 months ago
