Medium lemon yellow , some development . On the nose this is still quite fresh , with some yellow fruits , white peach, white flowers, red apple , creamy lemon curd . On the palate this is quite rounded with touch of smoky lemon curd, lightly buttery and white peach . Balanced acidity , but not the brightest , and ok length , quite rounded but balanced . Good now and over the next few years . Impressive for a basic Bourgogne Blanc , especially from 2011. — 9 days ago

Been a minute since I have had this. Insane nose of phyllo dough, saline, green apple skins. some melon and also huge limestone. Palate is dense and tactile with an almost tannic presence and Chassagne like structure. Really dense and textured. Juicy and concentrated but needs air. Olivier’s craft is impeccable, even in Bourgogne.

Slightly sour Meyer lemons, lime zest, ripe pineapple flesh, green melons, cream, caramel & butterscotch notes, sea spray, oysters, volcanic minerals, shade of mushroom, sea fossils, some ginger, yellow flowers/lilies with greens, round vicious acidity, good balance, well knitted & elegant finish that lasts 90 seconds and long sets on minerals & spice.
