Color is a little darker than I expected!
Smells like red apple and seaweed…and cured turkey.
Tastes very apple-y, but more of a sweet apple than a tart apple. Some cherry. A little toast and a slight champagne-y quality. Enjoyable. Good deal for the pricier liquor stores in the area I am visiting. 89. — a day ago
Wheelhouse. A chunky trousseau that’s let itself go a bit. — 20 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2006 Juliet pours a deep garnet/purple with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated dark fruits: cassis, blackberries, plums, tobacco, leather, mixed dead flowers, old wood, organic earth and fine warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin (integrated) and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with an attractive, plush texture. This is in a really good spot and fully mature. Drink now through 2031. — 4 months ago

Truncated cookout notes. Very Graves like nose with lots of cigar box notes along with rich gravelly scents, and some nice plummy fruit. Not quite as deep on the palate as the nose would suggest (it’s a ‘14) but nice acidity. Finishing a tad short. — a month ago
