Touch of VA…. No contraire, like a lot. Not nice. Flawed bottle that. — 10 months ago
I don’t think it was a great bottle. Dry , short, lost on the palate. Still shows layers but not the finesse it should. Not close to others I’ve tasted. — a year ago
stunning. Balanced, length, layers and layers, floral, depth , mid palate just gives and did I mention the length……wow ! — 2 years ago
Hot nose, big floral, fat berry, tar, chocolate. Medium dry tannins, lots of oak, takes away a bit from the fruit. Tight. Needs to breathe. I’ll wait to score. After two hours it’s put on weight. Fruit came out and tannins became well integrated. I’d have given it a 87-88 on opening but now it’s a solid 92. — 9 months ago
Big cigar box nose. Floral, soil, smoke, mushroom. Long length, sure but bit dusty and tad dry or what…? dusty tannins really. Grippy. Still has the elegance but I dunno. Kinda boring. — 10 months ago
Love it. Light on the palate. Good length. Smokey fruit. Tannins that pull it all together. — a year ago
Oh yeah, loads of cedar, dried cherry, floral. Still rocking this 90. Layered, built up with nice tannic backbone and just lovely dried fruit and floral touches. Lots of length. Lot going on. Yes, please. — 9 months ago
Raisin, smell of wet cobbles after summer rain ( where did that come from?). Ehhhh, over its peak. Lots of dried raisin, floral, cedar, compost. Yes it has length, yes it is layered but it’s just over the hill and dried up. — 9 months ago
Fully matured, sherry touches, leather, dry mushroom, soft palate, medium length. Nice. — a year ago

Bracing white with lovely smoke like wafts of lemon, spice, chalk, green grass and lovely mineral foreground. Layered on long on the tongue. Absolutely needs food as on its own maybe a little too bracing but with a nice grilled fish and salad it’s balanced. — 8 months ago
