Domaine Duc de Magenta Clos de la Garenne Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Bracing white with lovely smoke like wafts of lemon, spice, chalk, green grass and lovely mineral foreground. Layered on long on the tongue. Absolutely needs food as on its own maybe a little too bracing but with a nice grilled fish and salad it’s balanced.

Light lemon-hued. Aromas and flavors of apple, citrus, melon, peach, pear, and saline, with hints of cream and vanilla and a finish of minerals. Light-bodied with high acidity. Balanced.
