2024 spring / summer. A little dark and heavy — 6 months ago
Very enjoyable left bank bottling for $35 on the shelf, if not pretty closed. Decanted for 2+ hours and was just starting to reveal itself, still somewhat shy after 4+. Blackberry, stewed mulberry, earth, coffee grounds, garden, and spice. Not overly ripe or concentrated with a subtle bitter balance. Curious to see what day 2 is like. Good value candidate for cellaring though I wouldn’t hate a bit more acidity. — 2 months ago

This wine leads with minerality but has flavors of lemon rind and stone fruit. 🫶 — 6 months ago

2018 vintage. Medium-body. Needs another 3-4 years to drop the bully attitude and false bravado, revealing a delicate and gentle soul beneath. Will likely pick up a case next week as the pricing is pretty good for this 1er Cru and effort. 01.09.25. — a month ago
