Nose has a hint of cheesy reduction on it. Richard’s wines are always so awkward young but so full of promise. Florals. Violets and full of purple fruits. But needs time to develop. But that palate. Wow. Wow! So silky and refined. Man, his wines are so so slept on. Superb concentration and noble structure. Ripe but significant tannins and echos of intense red cherry fruit on that finish. This is so close to a 9.5. Let’s see what air does
