Nice Morgon with just enough age to come into its own. Quite full and dark without being overbearing. Even with a several hour decant the tannins still very much make themselves known. Acid and dark fruit keep this in line overall. Nice pairing with some oven spare ribs at the height of winter. Try again in 3-5 years. — a month ago
Has a nice bite to it that’s very pleasant in the cold. — 4 months ago
Really good Bordeaux blend. When we heard it was aged in concrete we knew we had to try it since we talked about that method in class this week. Bonus points for being natural! Fruity and smooth and some good age on it — a month ago

Vintage 2010 | My last 375 ml, curious because I thought it might be too old. Instead: it is g o r g e o u s. Beautiful ripened cab franc smell, as vibrant as possible. The back label says cab franc ánd cab sauvignon. Elegant taste. This wine is from the time Frederic Brochet owned the domaine and wanted to make wines as beautiful as possible. Proof that great wines can be made in Vienne. Biological organic wine, if anyone needs proof that these wines can ripen > this is a great example. Paired with pasta and a improvisation mushroom sauce. — 8 days ago
