2000 vintage. This is one of the better BDX 2000's I've had in the last decade. Opened not decanted. Tasted 1 hour and 4 hours after opening. Feminine body, masculine flavors. Plenty of stuffing and instructive markers laid down along the palate pathway. With apologies to Robert Zimmerman, you ain't going nowhere. 10.2.26. — a month ago

Expressive nose of blackcurrant and dark cherry with hints of dried fruit nuances, along with cedar, graphite, and dried herbs. The palate is dense and layered, and becomes quite seamless after about 2 hours - nice balance of acidity, fruit concentration and tannic grip.
In the early stage of maturity. Long ascent awaits. — 13 hours ago
This was full bodied, drinking well showing dark fruits, spice, earth, graphite & tobacco — 7 days ago
Happy Halloween! 🎃 While our kids trick-or-treat and go to Haunted Houses, we are at 🏡 enjoying our “treats” 🍷. Cheers friends! 👻 — 6 hours ago
The utterly delicious 2018 Chateau Gloria is medium>full, with an abundance of black fruit aromatics and flavors, a good structure, and a well balanced fruity core with juicy acidity and powdery tannins at the smoothly textured, long mouth coating finish. One of the better values in Bordeaux. — 2 months ago
Present. Full body and should have been great but showed its age. — 3 months ago
Double-decanted prior to service. The 1988 pours a garnet color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with beautiful notes of cassis, brambles, tobacco, capsicum, leather, inorganic earth and a mix of herbs and fine spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin (integrated) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. The label is beat to hell but the condition of the wine inside the bottle was perfect. Classic, old school Bordeaux from a classified growth. Drink now through 2043. — 15 days ago
2019 vintage. A blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Petit Verdot. First year of conversion to organic viticulture. The second wines of the big boys have never been better, and this is another good example. Raspberry, cassis, a hint of pencil shavings, and a little smokiness. Good concentration, charm, complexity and length. Good value for an appellation where you don't go shopping with 10 euro, but that rarely disappoints. A lovely introduction to the grand vin at one third of the price. Abv. 13,5%.. Eric Boissenot consults. — a month ago
Was surprised for a Bordeaux that it was so smooth and light. Very good! — a month ago
Classic mature Bordeaux, 2004 vintage, powerful, lots of dark red berries and cherries - wonderful! — 2 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Consistent throughout. The 2016 pours a deep garnet/purple color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of cassis, plum, purple flowers, graphite, and a combination of cool and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. I think this is my first experience with the second wine of Chateau Lagrange. Went well with my burger. Plenty of life left in it. Drink now through 2036. — 7 days ago
