Still a baby. Needs an hour to be civilized. 5 years to be great.
Nose: elegant lavender. Lilacs. Elegantly savory. Earth.
Palate: still young and candyish like young vintage port. But it’s. All. There. Vibrant cherries.
9.5 is a floor. Will likely be higher. HOLD.
Yeah. 9.7. Nose is magic at 90 minutes. That maesltrom of dark flowers, wet brick and spice flowers. A hint of musk. Sensual. Sexy. Wow!

Nose is lilacs. A hint of bramble perfume. Lovely and quite interesting.
Palate is remarkably silky and elegant. Juicy elegant wild blackberries. You get that acidity. Lovely internal aromatics.
Beautifully well made.
As this opens, this ineffable quality. Yes … this is fucking burgundy.

Incredible. Granny Smith, apricot, lightly sweet. Beautiful skin contact white. — 6 years ago
This is the wine I have been waiting for from Jenny and François. A beautiful natural wine that doesn’t smell like a pig pen. I mean it still smells “natural“ but I also get a wiff of cherry. it’s a beautiful opaque ruby color. Then it’s tart and light on the palate. Practically sparkles on the tongue. It’s a fresh garden of mild herbs.. Tarragon and thyme. Drinking it by itself right now but I think it would go great with food. But what? something lemony? Or lamb maybe? Greek food. Yeah lamb kabobs. . Update: went great with simple salad of field greens, hard boiled egg, olive oil and lemon dressing. 😃 — 6 years ago
Too young. But soooooooooioo good. Oh my god good. Needs 2 years but with a 1 hour decant INSANE.
Nose licorice flower. Condensed god’s perfume Let me die now good.
Palate is perfect. Dense but volnay Dense. Lilac concentrate. So juicy. So dense. So Sweet. Wine if the year quality. Vaporizing a 98 latour.
Some spice.
A WOW wine. In2 years will be. A god wine.

Sacre Bleu ! I had this with a hamburger. Now a proper hamburger. Salted through and through. Mixed with sautéed shallots. Cloth bound cheddar. Brioche bun. A dab of chutney. NO ketchup (vinegar and wine dont mix). Basically a burger that the French would make if they didn’t consistently fuck up burgers. And make them with shite French beef.
Nose: dusty in the best way possible Deep. Dark. Almost gothic. Al elegant brambriness as it opens.
Palate: dense dark blackberry fruit. Blackberry liquor. Delicious. Almost chewy. Fresh though.
The perfect wine for beef on a Monday. A proper burger. Steak au poivre. Bloody duck.
This is a solid 93. But a gorgeous 93 with the right food. It’s shows the breadth of Burgundy.

One of the best wines I’ve had from my FASS Selections!
Unbelievably magical!
You just know this one was made by genius from a superior grape gene! — 3 years ago
Fantastic natural Pinot Noir from Balatonmelleki, Hungary. Very light at 11.5% abv, acidic and vibrant. Had it for Christmas Eve dinner with filet mignon in mushroom red wine sauce, roasted potatoes and asparagus. @Delectable Wine Bencze Birtok is the producer — 6 years ago
I love a good, zippy, Sauvignon Blanc. Lovely lemony and pear flavors. — 6 years ago
Nose is musty. May be corked. God hates us all. Some yummy violet peeking out? As this opens more licorice peeks out.
As this opens the aromatics strengthen and the must recedes. Maybe I was wrong. “DAmnit Jim I’m a wine professional not a biochemist!”
Palate has great juicy delicious cherry fruit. Some licorice. Very grippy on the palate. Staining. Rich. More delicious than complex. A big bopper. Interested to taste less giant vintages. Like a more elegant st Joseph this year.
Almost chewy (the adjective not the star wars character).
Whatevs. Having it with steak and duck fat Cooked potatoes. So all good.
Perfectly fine to drink now.

Leesy, crisp, & absolutely enticing— especially for a Jura geek. Slight viscosity, golden yellow hue. Had at friends party. Jenny & Francois states this is a Gruner But what do I know? Post script: this a white wine, not a red blend @Delectable Wine — 8 years ago

This got the bones but needs 3 years.
Nose: elegant cherry. Cherry flower. Still has pencil shavings. There’s some density here. But it’s subtle. Early stages of expansive. When the wood integrates should’ve very good to spectacular.
Palate: silky cherry mountain stream. Some pencil shavings. Young.
Floor is 9.4. Could be a 9.7 if it ages well. Lovely balance.

Young and bashful on open. Needs air.
As it opens you get elegant concentrated lilacs on the nose. On the palate, wild blackberries. Licorice. A hint of balancing bitterness.
Needs 2-5 years still. Could be much better then.

just so fuckin tasty. tastes like apples and honey with a little bit of a kick — 6 years ago
Wow. This is about as spectacularly delicious a burgundy as I’ve had.
Nose is the best pure cherry. Cherry lipstick a bit. Flawless. ... an hou in lovely florals.
Palate is perfect. Ripe cherry but bursting with firm cherry brightness. Wow. Hint of cherry licorice. Spice.
So good I could drink a case. I’d die. But it would almost be worth it.
At 40 minutes getting some depth. You will be tempted to guzzle this in the first 20 minutes. It’s that good. But that is the temptation of SATAN and you should resist it. Wait for an hour at least.
Finish has some cranberry.
This is crazy in that it’s so good young but the decanting improvement suggests this could be better than delicious and very very good as it ages.

Not your average basic white girl rose.
Terrific perfumed nose. Spicy cherry fruit. Mineral. Long finish. Exquisite. Deep.
Still fresh after 7 years.
After an hour - savory. Saline like aged bluefin tuna (Spain).
One of the best roses on planet earth.
Decant for an hour. Anything less is a sin. Wow. Amazing wine.
