Les 2 Jean Vin de Savoie Persan

If Gamay and Syrah had a love child it would be Persan. Violets and white pepper with slightly earthy notes make this wine very food friendly and adaptable. Fun!

If I didn't know what it was, I would have called it a Syrah. Dark cherry and blueberry, black pepper, with a bit of funk and asphalt (in the best possible way!). Great acidity on finish.

Lush dark fruit nose. Beautiful velvety mouthfeel. Starts out dark cherries. Teeth-rattling acidity carries it to oranges.

A property passed down from father to son since 1644, this domaine rests on the outskirts of the village, Chignin -- Wild Blueberry, Bramble, Beaujolais-Esque...

Funky! Cherry, blackberry a little tight. Needs a good cheese

Very nice kick of acid at the end -- perfect pairing for a nice steak.

Nice nose of damp forest, good acid and bright berry.

High acidity but has a slight funk. Decent wine but not one I need to have again.
