Domaine André François
Quinet Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah
Not quite as good as past ones. This feels slightly more thin, more restrained, with both less acid and less dark fruit and olive than in past vintages. With some more air comes alive a bit more. Would give more time or perhaps just time to drink up and accept it.

Jan 21st, 2025Could this be the best value I’ve ever tasted? It’s right up there. Sweet purple fruits, mineral backbone, grilled meat. A lovely lavender note; both dried and fresh, excellent length on the finish. I love lower ABV Syrah that is not underripe; 12.5%. Does have some tannin; I’m interested to revisit in 3-5 years. From Fass selections
