Winner of the night. Plump red fruit with some structure, med+ finish. Silky with that slight crunch you might expect. — 6 months ago
Mineral… souple ! Un délice…

This is a bottle I could drink twice a week until my dying day. — a year ago
Deep dark cherry. Orange zest. Earthy and rustic. Classic. But the wine lacks anything special where i would say wow. Wine oxidizes within 2 hours so air does not make a difference. So I will drink these bottles up. Note these wines needed to be aged for 15 years to develop. — a year ago
One of my favorite wines I've had recently, the nose is an amazing combination of red fruit, violet, mushrooms and forest floor, all of which transfers to the palate. Fantastic to have with food or to drink on its own and contemplate. Hard to think of a better Beaujolais that I've had than this one — 5 months ago
Perfect with our salmon dinner. Minerals stand out — 9 months ago
Nice Sancerre for sitting by the pool — 3 years ago
Nice Beaujolais Villages from a producer I'm a big fan of! Worth it to pay the couple extra bucks for a Cru level wine, but this is still nice for what it is — 5 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and lemon citrus with notes of honey and spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity, nice balance ending with lemon citrus and mineral character. Good now! — 6 months ago
I usually don’t like French reds but this drank like a Napa red. Very nice — 9 months ago
One of the best Chablis I’ve had in the past 10 years or so. Amazing. And so classical. Old school green-tinged crystalline gold color. Nose features barely ripe apple fruit, intensely brothy, wet sea shell limestone minerality. I could sniff this forever. So vibrant and alive on the palate. Packed with flavor but shot-through with minerality that freshens it. Nice acids. Slight bitterish note in the long finish. Walks that tightrope of intensity with counterbalancing energy. Vaulorent really ought to be a grand cru. Heck, it’s on the same damn hill! — a year ago

"Slow Decanted" this white burgundy with the Vinloq System
DAY 1
👃Lemon/underripe pineapple with stony minerals/black pepper. Vivid
👅Glorious minerality from start to finish.
Lemony fruit takes a back seat to the minerality but there is plenty to provide balance. Great structure, very nice acidity, and a slightly oily texture. All bright and crisp
The remaining burgundy was Slow Decanted in my refrigerator
DAY 10
👃Minerals lead on the vivid nose with lemons in the background. Less flinty minerality than day 1
👅Lemon fruit followed by minerality coming on at the black pepper finish. Structure, acidity, and oily texture continue. Concentrated. Classy and well put together
The 2014 Morgeot Les Fairendes is going strong and was powerful and refined on DAYS 1 and 10.
No reason this cannot continue to improve based on the great overall balance
