Really impressive on opening. Tastes like a Pinot noir should. Cherries, rose, a bit of fern like hiking in CA redwood grove, there’s some strawberry, some dust, plum skin. Interestingly the aftertaste, maybe 20 seconds later suddenly has a sweetness to it that I really enjoy. Drinking really well now on opening. Grateful to try this. — 4 months ago
My humble contribution to the Tailgate shenanigans. Compared to the other white Burgs poured tonight, the color alone was an outlier and it didn’t stop there…but that was to be expected. The 2021 seems impossibly bright, laden with tart tropical fruit; steely, chalky, leesy, lovely. This should drink well through 2036+. — 25 days ago
Red to dark red fruits, cherry, raspberry and pomegranate, garrigue, and singed black schiste stone/mineral notes, lavender florals too. The palate is medium bodied, with intense flavors that are lightning it's feet. I am a fan of Faugeres wines and it's rare for me to try a new one like this one. — 3 months ago
