Aromas of lychee, white peach, grapefruit and herbal on the palate, mineral with a long finish. — 21 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of dinner. The 2021 pours a deep garnet color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of black cherry, espresso, black tea, dried herbs and gentle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Drink now with patience but, to my palate, I think this will be better with a few more years in the cellar so the oak can better integrate. This is built to last well past 2041. — a month ago

Full-bodied Tuscan white (Vermentino) enjoyed with linguine alla vongole at Toscano restaurant in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA — 22 days ago
Burgundy like nose with forest floor, modest oak, small red fruits, intriguing. A bit disappointing palate on opening with small red fruits and some dust. Improved after an hour with more depth and some drying tannines but not convincing yet.. a bit unbalanced. — 2 months ago
What a lovely wine! The nose is a bit deceiving of what is coming upon the first sip and it just keeps getting better! Extremely smooth and the full flavors seem to be delayed and then just swell at the back of the throat and on the tongue. This is Tuscan wine that is truly “super Tucsan”! No wonder it has a solid 93 points across the board! — 2 months ago

Paolo Bea dinner at Semo. All wines were prepared by opening and slow-ox, prior to service. Abbreviated notes due to the setting. The 2015 Arboreus pours the color and cloudiness of urine after a 3 day bender with little hydration. Notes of bruised and battered Apple, dried stone fruit, white and yellow flowers, mushroom, damp hay, and nuts. Low tannin on the palate and good acid. Drink now through 2030+.
