Moore B tasting of Germans. A terrific wine of a varietal new to me. Lively with a sense of weightlessness that’s intriguing, playful texture too. — 3 years ago

Had to crack a ‘21 and put one in the cellar for a few years. Very impressed. But of course KP nails this variety. A but rounder than Riesling with different aromatics but still that good teeth shattering acidity and minerality. Paired with khao soi. — 3 years ago
Very close to perfection. See previous notes but this also has Iodine (As a chemist i am well familiar with that note). Unspitable. In the top 1%. See my previous notes. Pinot does not get better than this a perfect expression of the site north of Freiburg on the slopes of the black forest. — 5 months ago
After drinking mainly Bordeaux and Rioja over the christmas period this was much lighter. Nose of cherries, raspberries, tar and orange peel. Palate was similar but needed more air to catch up. Elegant and balanced. Paired excellently with roast duck legs, orange sauce and roast potatoes. — 6 months ago

Nada on the nose. Little in the mouth except brutal acid. — 2 years ago
