Dark ruby hue (almost inky). Aromas of bell pepper, black cherry, leather, plum, toast, and vanilla. Medium body, with rounded tannins and plus acidity. Plush palate and a decent finish. Easy to drink. Value pick from Grocery Outlet. — 2 days ago
Light-bodied red with notes of red fruit and a bit of pepper. — 8 days ago
Loved it. Los Angeles Pizzana, delicious — 11 days ago
Deeper in color than a trendy Provence rosé this also celebrates grenache in all its glory - red cherry, strawberry, raspberry and white peach on the nose and palate. Good acidity and a lovely red fruit juiciness. Wonderful with food, but equally enjoyable on its own — a month ago

The Ojai Vineyard - Camp 4 Vineyard - Santa Barbara County - Vermentino - 2021
Superb Santa Barbara County Fruit, Fruit is round and expertly ripe. Those in the know, know Camp 4 Vineyard.
Santa Barbara Terroir on the nose. Sight is greenish yellow. Medium+-Full body. Acidity is medium, keeping things early summer quenchable and drinkable without being bracing, and retaining the fun summer fruitiness without being bonkers. Flavor profile has a bit of grass, hay, and white peach notes. Delicious. Multi-bottle purchase. Highly recommend making a reservation for tasting if planning a trip to Ojai.
So far, for the limited amount of Vermentino in CA, and the ones I have been lucky enough to come across, This is my favorite still wine Vermentino (yes, theres sparkling out there too)
