Interesting story. Bettina was NOT born into a winery family. She is making wine with her friend Am Kaiserstuhl in Baden - Germany. Gorgeous golden color. Skin contact. Super fresh crisp, clean and clear - not an orange wine in that regard. Dried apricots, great balance between acidity and fruit. Touch bing cherry - tannic. — 13 days ago
Aromas are there at arms length - wild orange and baked peach cobbler. Accents of cinnamon, orange zest and bourbon spiked vanilla ice cream. Fun mix in lower amplitudes. — 3 years ago
Recently I’ve found some of their stuff hit or miss but this is no joke especially for the price. Great “orange” wine with nice fruit, depth, acid, hint of grip, and verve. Not really any “natural” funk, perhaps the bottle age has evened it out. — 6 months ago
Unreal nose, floral, honeyed, peanut butter, textured and deep, silky and so refined, so so refined. Juicy and clean, and mineral, and fine brown butter flavors, some stone fruits, awesome. Best ever. — 2 years ago
