The Bear Red Wine 2022

2022. Vineyard: Fenaughty & Lightner
Varietal: Counoise, Cinsault, Mourvédre, Grenache, Terret Noir. Light body, but lots of flavor. No funk, minimal tannins and enough acidity to pair great with sausage pasta and bagna cauda garlic bread.

New Glou Fenaughty, Girard, Testa and Cloud Vineyard Marsanne Blend 2024

2024. This year’s nouveau wine from D&G is very similar to the last two vintages that we’ve enjoyed. Slightly tart cranberry and red berry flavors. Served chilled with chicken and sausage gumbo. — 10 hours ago

Ramato Filigreen Farm Pinot Gris 2022

2022. Really delicious and balanced skin contact wine. Savory notes without the funk of some similar style wines. We loved it paired with Persian kebabs, spreads, and salads. — 2 months ago

Testa Vineyard Carignane 2022

2022. We loved the 2019 Martha Stoumen Carignan we had this afternoon, so we wanted to try this D&G when we went looking for another bottle. A bit darker fruit flavor and earthier, and took ~15 minutes to open up. A little more tannic bite but paired equally well with leftover kebabs. — 2 months ago

Lily's Cuvée Pétillant Naturel Anderson Valley Chardonnay 2022

2022. More complex aromas and flavors than most pet-nat that I’ve had. Pulled out of the beer fridge because I wanted an Averna Spritz before dinner. ~200 mL of Sparkling Wine for two spritzes means there was enough left to enjoy on its own. — 4 months ago
