Full of character. Cedar comes through strong. Earthy with a heavy finish. Quality wine, but not sure if it’s worth the $. — 20 days ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, cedar and baking spice, aged in about 30% new French oak for 12 months. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and raspberry with cola, floral and sweet cinnamon herb spice notes. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak, herbs and an earthy mineral character. Nice! Organic! — 10 days ago
Full-bodied bodied by not astringent. Fruit forward but not overly so. Great with filet. — a day ago
On second day. Nice, dark fruited nose, nice mouthfeel, finish s little lacking. — 20 days ago
I’ve been loving the much maligned 2011’s lately. Most of them are in their prime right now including this one which was super elegant with a great mix of rocky minerality and dark fruit. This is at peak and will drink well for another decade. — 2 months ago
See my prior notes. For a gnarly vintage, few complaints here. — 7 days ago

This has softened considerably since my last bottle several years ago. Nose is complex, with earth, cedar, cigar box, and an incense-like note. In the mouth, it’s rich but medium-bodied in the mouth. The tannins that were so prominent a few years ago have significantly resolved. Entering (finally) its drinking window. — 7 hours ago
