2021 vintage. Immediately hit with heavy aromas of oak, spice, berry, and a slight hint of leather. Shockingly smooth on the palette, flavors of dark cherry, with a lingering finish and defined texture. Paired well with NC Barbecue chicken and spicy potatoes. Decent go to Cab for under $25. — 2 months ago
Properly dry with tight, fine bubbles and crisp notes of white peach, ripe grapefruit, and wet stones, with very little baking notes. Color is very light yellow with green hues to the center, and palate is bone dry, with more white peach (underripe), dry lemon, some slight hints of thyme or celery notes, and more grapefruit tartness with a lot of dry, limestone energy vibrating to the finish. — 3 months ago
Nice, don’t love white wine but this is good — 4 months ago
Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, green peppercorns, and black currents; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and medium intensity primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, eucalyptus, tar, and graphite with a long finish. This wine is balanced, and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 6 months ago
Minerality with light grassy tones accentuated by light tropical notes. Pleasant. — 6 months ago
A beast, and still shockingly young. Barely budged in a year and a half, maybe 5% evolution. Nose is unbelievable: crystalline blackberry, blueberry, crushed granite, then more granite, then more blackberry. Palate still has that grapey, youthful, barrel-sample intensity, with massive concentrated fruit and granite oozing through everything. Tannins are significant at first, then smooth out into something velvety, sweet and seamless. Terrific purity, absurd material, huge structure and a long blackberry-granite finish. This is insane Cornas, but it needs forever. — 8 days ago

Un 2014 américain. (Il faut bien le boire un jour ). Il a été un peu long à ouvrir, mais il a encore du corps mais une belle souplesse et une belle longueur en bouche. Du fruit mûr. Très agréable. — 6 months ago

From a 1ha parcel of vines nearing 100 years old. If memory serves me correctly, Catherine and Pierre had introduced biodynamic practices the previous year (1994).
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 1995 Les Perrières pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of brambles, Poblano pepper, purple flowers, graphite, leather, a touch of horse blanket, some fine warm spices and gravelly minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, grippy and mineral laden. Delicious. I love where this wine is at today. Drink now but well stored examples will likely live well past 2035. — 3 months ago
This is a polished, crowd-pleasing Cabernet that still shows real intent. Ripe black cherry and blackberry lead the charge, followed by notes of cocoa, vanilla, and a subtle cedar spice. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated, giving it an easy, confident structure without sacrificing depth. There’s just enough oak warmth to feel luxurious, but it never overwhelms the fruit.
I opened this during a family winter getaway in Atlantic City, one of those cold, quiet nights after the lights fade and the boardwalk winds down. It paired beautifully with a relaxed dinner and conversation, the kind of wine that elevates the moment without demanding attention. Approachable, reliable, and quietly refined. Indian Wells continues to earn its reputation as a go-to Cabernet with class. — 5 months ago
Thought it paired really nicely with lamb dish I ordered and Zoe’s peppercorn duck dish — 6 months ago

Superb. Fresh and approachable, plenty of acid. Then the vanilla and orange flower is replaced by candied lemon peel and mango for a long finish — 15 days ago
