2024/7/16-17. While I’ve adored Lafarge’s Volnays for years, I haven’t had many of the Meursaults. This reminded me a bit of Dauvissat’s Chablis - restrained, linear, no trace of oak. There’s lemon and white flower, with just flashes of spice, butter and hazelnut - at least for now — 4 months ago

These wines are the most stubborn wines I've ever tried from Burgundy. They take forever to come around and when you catch them early, they don't always show up. Extreme patience and research are needed to drink these and actually try to enjoy them. — 5 months ago
