Ripe red fruit, dark cherry, medium bodied with a fairly bright acidity. Plenty of leather, some oak, and hints of a funky earthiness. Would go well with a ripe blue cheese. Lively pairing with a ribeye and sweet potatoes. Would do well aging for a few more years to mellow the acidity. — a month ago
We first had this in Amboise, France. I did find a bottle in the US. Opened it today and makes me remember why we loved it so much. Juicy and red fruits. Still has some structure as a 9 year old wine. Very nice acidity. Lots of raspberry and cassis notes. We enjoyed it on our patio! — 4 months ago
Solid beauj. Lightweight with super soft (if any) tannins. Nose has an overriding vegetal characteristic. Mildest cherry finish. — 2 months ago
