85% Mondeuse, 15% Persan. 11% ABV. 24mg/l sulfur. Matchstick / toasted nut, slight spritz and funk at opening. Lovely at 2hrs decant. Tons of violet, rose and very floral / potpourri, white pepper, purple fruited (pomegranate, cassis and plum), currant, red apple skin, black cherry skins, raspberry. Love the way this evolves with air, fresh plum skin tannins and florals. Intriguing and sexy and utterly drinkable — 5 days ago
Dammit David. I think he has trackers on our vehicles.
For the comparison to the Trione... two very different wines. And equally good for different reasons. This was crisp. — 11 days ago
Take 2! As they ate my note. Third time this has happened now and all the same way. Seems a new bug is upon us. Gorgeous version of this and the best one yet. Nose of olive, cracked pepper, roasted and smoked meats, black/red berries. Huge granite and mashed violets. Stunningly pretty wine. So juicy and pure with perfect balance between fruit, granite, olive/meat and acid. Elegant and there but not there tannins. Finish could be a bit longer but on pop and pour this is an easy 9.5. — 7 days ago
This is gv. Really enticing nose dominated by a deep cedar/spice and funk notes. Med bodied, with dried red fruit and enough acid to provide freshness and give the impression of juiciness. Honest and well balanced. Better than many village wines I’ve tasted. Expressive. Buy again. — 2 months ago
Gamay from Côtes de Forez makes me happy, fruity, delicious and a wine of spring🍷🇫🇷 — 2 months ago
Garnet color. Oak and matured aroma. Like Bordeaux, tobacco nuance. Enough body, Mid+. Fruity with Spiciness. Aroma after stabilized is good. 2012@3200, Kping, 210402 — 9 days ago
