Ripe figs and currants. Big and bold. Spicy. Long legs. Impressive. — a month ago
2021 vintage. The C is totally different from the grand vin, from a parcel in Marcillac. I would probably not have guessed Bordeaux in a blind tasting. Very unique style, Bordeaux for Burgundy lovers maybe. 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. — 8 days ago
So great. Tobacco and herbs, earth. Full-bodied, juicy mouth full of ripe red and dark fruits. Perfect balance. — 23 days ago

This savory gem is part of the 2005 stash we purchased to celebrate our grandson Carter’s birth year. Often called “poor mans Latour,” Sociando shares a similar terroir one finds in Pauillac.
Well into its tertiary stage, it still is in many ways, (other than primary aromatics and flavors), displays the youth and vitality of a much younger wine.
Structurally firm, Medium>full body, ample fruit, medium+ acidity, with competing chalky tannins at the finish.
Overall quite savory, red and black fruits abound with hints of nuts and woodland herbs. Long life ahead !! — 6 hours ago
