17.5. Decanted. Still, even better second day. Big wine, on nose and palate. Great fruit, not showing much age 21 years on. — 2 months ago
Plummy and curranty fruit with a little spice, its modest weight and ripeness make it friendly and approachable but with subtle depth reminiscent of 1989 La Dominique. Very well done. — 22 days ago
Hint of smokey rubberiness that sometimes afflicts many of Laurent’s wines. But it is loaded with a material and holding back a lot in reserve. Seems less fussy than before and purer and more transparent as well. — a month ago
Sepia filter courtesy of smoke filled skies here in Oakland. If the end of the world is coming we better get drinking. Let’s start with some regal Chasselas. Six years in the bottle this is starting to pick up some weight with hints of butterscotch on top of the lemongrass and citrus pith notes you’d expect from this stony little white. Quite delicious. — 2 months ago
Nice complex sauvignon expressing tertiary aromas still keeping varietals.
Balanced mouthful and good acidity. Recommended — 22 days ago
