I enjoyed this, hubby did not. It does have a diesel, burnt tire smell. Not the best on the nose. Tasted great though. Full bodied, very jammy. Strawberry and lingering sweetness. I would buy again & I know I’d get the whole bottle to myself. 🙂 — a year ago
Pale lemon in color.
On the nose spices, light oak, lemons, light grapefruits, green apples and light earth.
Full bodied and creamy with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, apples, bitter herbs, light earth, diesel and spices.
Spicy finish with almonds and limes.
This is a nice and easy drinking white blend from Napa Valley.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel, and better when properly chilled.
A good afternoon wine and good for parties too.
I paired it with a cheese plate and light appetizers.
A blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Aged in French oak barrels and stainless steel vats.
13% alcohol by volume.

This is your #riesling if you’re not a fan of the petrol / diesel notes, once this has had a chance to breathe a bit. While I don’t mind those, this is a nice alternative terroir expression - subtle floral and peach notes on nose. @Kurt Schuster is spot on with the crystalline descriptor. The palate is more about the luscious fruit texture backed by sturdy acidity and a touch of RS rather than a lot of complexity. Where else can you get #grandcru #alsaceriesling other than #costco for ~$18? — a year ago
👀 - Very pale yellow
👃- Diesel, Green apple, lemon rind
👅 - Citrus and mineral — 3 years ago
Light yellow in color with a golden hue.
Beautiful and aromatic nose with apples, white flowers, diesel notes, honey and minerals.
Medium plus in body with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with a touch of RS.
Showing citrus, limes, apples, spices, white pepper, minerals, sea salt, light river rocks and diesel.
Tangy long finish with limes and spices.
This is a delicious Riesling from Spring Mountain District in Napa Valley. Elegant and fruit forward with enough acidity to balance the fruits.
Rich and nicely balanced. Feels like a Mosel Riesling. Tangy and interesting.
Still young, and already drinking beautifully. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15+ years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime. Better when not too cold.
I had a few vintages of this wine and it always delivers. This vintage is delicious.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. Will pair nicely with spicy Asian food.

As a 2014, which came with a little bit of worry this was solid. Had cherry notes at first then blossomed into a bold, diesel with fruit wine. Awesome stuff. — 2 years ago
Kurt Schuster
Mineral, acid, and a good amount of sweetness. Could use a bit more structure to fight against the sweet minerality but it works out well with some diesel/exhaust notes and crisp unripe Bartlett pear notes. Very lovely. — 4 months ago
