Nuanced red. Nothing bold, nothing angular, nothing out of place. Balanced, intriguing dark wild berry flavors expressing slowly and carefully. Whispers of earth, and forest floor. Great wine to sit down and savor. But that is hard to do when there are two other people savoring that same wine and it just ‘poof’ disappears. — 20 days ago
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Merlot (47%) and Cabernet Franc (6%). Dark ruby color with a few purple highlights. Savory aromas of burnt wood, asphalt, black fruit, smoky oak and purple flowers. Flavors of cooked blue and black berries, espresso, mushrooms, cassis and oolong tea. Long and smoky finish. Nicely balanced and extremely concentrated. Smooth tannins but still quite the powerhouse. Heading past its prime but still extremely drinkable. Thank you for sharing this incredible wine, Kasey and Pete. — a month ago
So underrated and punching way above its weight class. Bit more delicate and pure than your high end Boudreaux. Perfect for seaside dinners. Great vintage too. — 7 days ago
Very enjoyable. Notes of mango and passion fruit. Not too sweet. — 7 days ago
1966 that we had with foie gras. It was excellent! — 9 days ago

Classic La Mission nose showing mostly black fruits, with notes of smoke, cedar, licorice, leather, mocha, underbrush & cigar ash. Just entering its prime with many years ahead — 17 hours ago
