v16. Outstanding! Soft, dusty, peppery, dried herb and fresh crushed berry nose. Fresh, luscious, deep black currant, blackberry , blueberry and hints of plum fruit. Velvety smooth, slightly chalky, chocolate and soft leather finish. Very good!! — 4 months ago
2019 vintage. As rustic as ever. Blood. Earth. Plum. Stems. Heavy body. A step or two above a solid workhorse but not flighty. Tremendous punch. Could be wrong but think this producer only does Saint Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage and both are great QPR. 10.30.24. — 20 days ago
Garnet with significant bricking. The nose is all savoury with umami, barbecue meat, and smoke. The palate is again dominated by savoury meatiness. Soy. Very elegant. Classic burgundy - bold and powerful flavours with ethereal weight. — 3 months ago
Really impressive on opening. Tastes like a Pinot noir should. Cherries, rose, a bit of fern like hiking in CA redwood grove, there’s some strawberry, some dust, plum skin. Interestingly the aftertaste, maybe 20 seconds later suddenly has a sweetness to it that I really enjoy. Drinking really well now on opening. Grateful to try this. — 5 months ago
This 2022 is next level. Have had several Rhône whites recently and this is a standard bearer. So focused. About editing and restraint with subtle hints of this and that without hitting you over the with anything. Dominated by Rousanne which explains its elegance and subtlety. Has a honeyed fresh slightly poached apricot and apple combo with whiffs of baking spices. Great Lacey quartz structure. Beguiling.. perfect with scallops, acorn squash and rice pilaf — 12 days ago
Oxidative Savignin perfection. Ripe golden delicious, lemon curd, chantilly cream, hazelnut skin. Delicate, energetic, and elegant. Absolutely gorgeous. — 3 months ago

Beautiful wine from a few weeks ago at a great dinner in Stockholm. Dark and red fruits with subtle spices, tannins that stayed in the background and a hint of vanilla. Very enjoyable — 8 days ago
