Derthona Colli Tortonesi Timorasso

This wine gets better every year and still shows the vintage. It's still a lower tier 1 or upper tier 2 Timorasso, but it IS very accessible. — 3 days ago

Colli di Lapio Fiano di Avellino 2023

Not as much vigor as other vintages. 2023 is tricky. — a month ago

Flaccianello della Pieve Colli Toscana Centrale Sangiovese 2017

Had this one about 2,5 years ago and it has made a serious step forward. Still not where it needs to be but it opening one now didn’t harm at all. — 3 days ago

Arnaldo-Caprai

Grecante Colli Martani Grechetto 2023

Vintage 2023 | Juicy and very quaffable grechetto. Each time I taste this brings me back to a visit to Arnaldo Capraï in Umbria. It is a emotion wine to me. Paired with a schnitzel. — a month ago

Azienda Agricola Montevetrano

Colli di Salerno Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2007

Decanted about 30 minutes prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2007 pours a deep ruby color with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some signs of light sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with powerful notes of ripe red and dark fruits: brambles, kirsch, plum, tobacco, purple flowers, green bell pepper, leather, cocoa, and earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is positively delightful right now and there are little signs of slowing down. Drink now through 2037. — 3 months ago

Ronchi di Cialla

Colli Orientali del Friuli Schioppettino di Cialla

Mineral lean. Almost thin. But delicious concrete and flint. Last year for this vintage I think — 4 months ago
