Cherry, cinnamon, rose petal. Smooth in its transitions. Great wine! — 6 months ago
Brooding, packed with firm tannin and bramble dark fruit. Perhaps a tad young and adolescent, but great with Bavette. — 7 months ago

Impulse buy at Market Street Market but now our go-to Rose. Enjoying it tonight on Christmas Eve with mom, Keith, and Rose. — 5 years ago

2020 vintage Drinking well in December 2025. The minimal oak was not bothersome. $40 — 7 months ago
Gorgeous wine from the 2000 vintage. Bright and vibrant but also full of savory, saline earthiness. Black and green olive, white truffle, dried fig, raspberry liqueur, black currant, orange pekoe tea, wet stone minerality, baking cocoa, black licorice, fresh earth, forest floor. Soft and supple, like velvet on the tongue. Mellow tannins that finish with a peppery note and surprisingly lively acidity. This can keep going for a while but I’m glad we opened it today. — 6 years ago

Aromas of kirsch, dried cherry, old wood, leather, and warm spice lead into a broad, supple palate. The fruit is ripe and generous, with earthy undertones and hints of black olive and dried herbs. Structure comes more from fine tannins than visible acidity, giving a smooth, gently weighted flow rather than lift. The finish is savory and persistent, marked by a candied touch.
A nice traditional CdP, but it does not show the fruit purity and freshness that’s one of the hallmark of the great 16’ vintage. — 3 months ago
Pretty remarkable. I’ve never been able to try an old one of these before, but I’ve always understood. They aged like champs and this thing was crazy. It tasted and looked like it could’ve been bottled last week. If you have any that have been well stored there’s absolutely no rush. — 9 months ago
Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — 3 years ago
Sweet aroma explosion. Light honey, Mirabelle plums, apricots, white tea, candied orange peel, yet it remains so fresh.
On the palate this is so balance, so juicy, v. sweet to still fresh. And there’s depth, a hint of tannic structure, a stony, mineral finish.

2022 vintage. Tasted from a 375ml sample. Frontal richness, chocolate usually reserved for the high-end, over the top CDP's along with the expected markers/high points down the road. Took two cases of half-bottles. Delicious. 8.5.26. — 20 hours ago
