This is a bit more dense and complex on the nose , denser fruits perhaps with some cedar , herbal hints along side the slightly bitter cherries . This fills out more on the palate , is longer and more intense , touch of herbal bitter cherries and pine sap. Really long and fresh . We had the 2007 on 9/14-15/25. A terrific aged Brunello. This had all the expected scents and tastes of a great Brunello. Black cherry, raspberry, leather, lavender and rose petals. Medium bodied and Old World. Tannins all smoothed out. — a month ago
