Medium ruby with a wide pink , ruby rim . Quite aromatic, ripe red cherries , dried herbs and cedar . On the palate there is high , refreshing acidity , ripe spiced red cherries , touch of crunchy summer fruits and quite grippy but fine tannins with good length. Good to drink now through will improve over the next 3-5 years and last well a further 5-8. For a basic Chianti Classico this is a really well done . — 2 days ago

Not a typical Chianti IMO and not sure if it was doing a blind tastes test I would ever guess Chianti. That being said it’s a super drinkable wine that like most wines, gets better as it sits. Enjoyable at the first sip and even more so at the last! This might be a good introduction to Chianti for first-timers. — 9 days ago
