Almost 40 years and its still in good shape. Thats a wine that drinks well after 8 to 10 years and might last 50+ in the better vintages. Does not have the complexity of grand cru wines but there is little if anything you can buy in Bordeaux at this QPR. — 5 months ago

Andrew Cullimore
Medium deep ruby garnet core , quite narrow garnet ruby rim. Grafite , cassis , deeper , darker fruit than the 2017. Blackberry and some ash and tobacco. On the palate this is deeper, with more darker fruit also, grafite , cassis and with a roundness and richness that the 2017 doesn’t have . Quite fresh acidity and gritty tannins , good length with grafite and cassis freshness . This is showing well but can still improve over the next 5 or so years and will last well over the next 10 years if not more .
