Extremely good but still infanticide. — 14 days ago
Talk about a singular expression of Pinot Noir. A pale gold coloring with effusive creaminess and a nice stream of very small bubbles. The aromas are a bit muted upon opening with just a bit of apple goodness to start the show. But let it sit for a while in a larger bowl and you’ll be rewarded. Warm cinnamon and crusty bread. Roasted nuts and blackberries all day long. There’s some fresh cherry and plenty salinity to boot.
Single vintage, single varietal, single vineyard. The hallmark of Jerome Coessens. 100% Pinot Noir from the lieu-dit of Largillier. The fruit hails from the plots that he has dubbed Fruit and Flower and that’s amazingly accurate. The amount of yellow fruit and floral notes are just ethereal in nature. The acidity borders on “racy” but instead settles on “zippy” which is just fine.
The attack is one that is quite pointed and full of finesse. It’s a very generous champagne that grows by leaps and bounds over time in the glass. An abundance of red and yellow fruits along with black pepper and dried herbs. Very fruity on the long finish with an added kick of spice. Singular and gorgeous. — 2 days ago
Another brilliant Bourgogne Cote d’Or from this rising young Burgundy young gun. Bright lifted nose of mid season cherries with some dark red cherries thrown in the mix and a lipstick like intensity. Floral. Like fresh dark roses. Lovely stoniness In the background. So pure and clean. Really just a remarkable nose. Luscious, deep and layered fruit. Palate is remarkable. Juicy, luscious, succulent and deep with huge red cherries, some darker red cherries and superb balance and incredible purity. This is better than the 19. Awesome awesome wine. Just so good. What one wants. That mouthfeel is a knockout. Huge mid palate and lovey treacly texture. So much mid palate amplitude. Stunning. As this airs the nose gets soil tones and you get even more flowers. This is a remarkable bottle of wine. Potting soil. But fresh and wet. So complex. — 14 days ago
The coveted 2018 disgorgement! 48 month sur lattes Les Pierrieres is a total stunner. Raring to go right out of the bottle, it’s simply just a complete Champagne. It displays a stunning crystalline purity and a seamless combination of richness and elegance. It’s layered with white flowers, fresh brioche, lemon candy and signature chalky minerals with fantastic persistence, cut and texture. A little age goes such a long way with these wines. Terrific. — 2 days ago
Yeah I know Peeps a wine from Walmart. I did read a review that this one was pretty decent; allowed a bottle to follow..along with the kitty food! 🐈 I am humbled to report..this is good! Nice medium bodied, melon, tangerine, strawberry, lime and minerals. Bottle does not indicate but does remind me of a Provence Rosé. @Sharon B you would like this! Nice with a few years on this Not Tempier..under $10!
My son in Indy sent a pic of his gas purchase...I want to send him a sympathy card! 🙄 — 21 days ago

Needed a whole day to become civilized. Stunning nose of blueberry, blackberry, graphite, granite and dark flowers. Some saddle leather as well. Also wet pottery clay. Palate is juicy and concentrated with terrific energy and thrust. Sappy and fresh with such fine grained tannins. Terrific layering and a soft density. So pure and deep. Elegant like only the best can be. Amazing balance and length. Age for 5-7 more years then watch out! — a day ago
