Intense and perfumed. Still young. Great purity. … 3 days later (poured back into bottle and vacuum sealed), the nose a lot less pronounced but lovely mouthfeel. Plum and black pepper and wild flowers. A slight bitterness. Very good, but best in day one — 2 months ago
Very pretty ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Medium-bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate and complex.
Showing red currants, cherries, earth, light oak, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee and black pepper.
Long finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a beautiful Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and rich.
This 9 year old from the great 2015 vintage is still young, and needs many years in the bottle to mature properly, but already drinking beautifully.
Would be nice to revisit it in 10 years, and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.
Very enjoyable and really yummy. A great wine to have all by itself, but good with food too.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses and had it by the pool.
93 points.

What a wonderful wine. Nose: lemon & ginger scone. Palate: lemon, tangerine, lemon pound cake, powdered sugar, papaya, mango pit. Happy 11 years! #thewinewasgood — 20 days ago
Mushrooms and dried earth on the nose. Ripe red fruits, cherries and currants with hints of plum and desiccated violets. Wonderful acidity and long finish. — a month ago
Really a wonderful St J and a crazy value as a 2nd wine. Lovely pairing with roast rack of lamb with garlic / rosemary / mustard. In a good window but could take more time honestly. Wonderful acid, quite deep fruit, long finish, tannins still very there, delicious. — 2 months ago
I’ll be the first to admit, champagne does not excite me on its own. This is rare exception. Delightful, dry, and drinkable. — 3 months ago
