Major-General Sir William Biddles Curran
Weeeee! It’s not poxed!Previous bottle opened a few months ago was very tired, but tonight we are back to form. Plenty of ripe and lean orchard fruit with a drop of lemon. Lots coming through for a village wine, both in terms of flavors as well as density. Very good now. — 23 days ago
Medium light lemon yellow colour . This is quite reserved and closed , quite a difference from the incorrect Pucelles . Quite mineral , chalky and stony , touch of struck match , white flowers , some lemon pith , focused and detailed , with the freshness the Pucelles lacked. On the palate this is denser and richer than the nose suggests with lemon peel , touch of white peach , chalky and mineral , excellent extract and good freshness . Quite long rich and intense but still really well balanced finish . This needs more time , I would leave this another 3-5 years and will last well a further 10 years . — 7 days ago

A super intense noise. Golden corn, oak, rich lemon… powerful and contained. Super rich and dense. A bit young but stunning quality. Plush and broad with fine acidity. Great, but young. — 5 days ago
